What this tool can and cannot do.

If you forget the password, we cannot recover it and nobody can open the file. Keep a copy of the password.
A PDF that already has a password must be unlocked first.
Some old PDF programs cannot open files locked this way.
Each file can be up to 100 MB, and you can add up to 30 files at once.

Questions

How strong is the lock?: It uses AES-256, the strongest kind the PDF format offers. A short or common password is still easy to guess, so choose a long one.
