Make a PDF smaller. We show you the new size before you download, and we say so if a file could not be made smaller.
How to use it
- Add your PDF.
- Choose Light or Strong. Light keeps everything the same. Strong turns pages into pictures.
- Press Compress and check the new size before you download.
Good to know
What this tool can and cannot do.
- Light often saves only a little, and some files cannot be made smaller.
- Strong turns every page into a picture, so the text can no longer be selected or searched.
- Protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Each file can be up to 100 MB, and you can add up to 30 files at once.

- Why did my file not get smaller?
- Some PDFs are already packed tightly. In that case we tell you, and you can try Strong if you do not need selectable text.
